A spiritual adventure!
‘The Mystic’ a novel by Author John Knight, is a spiritual adventure chronicling one man’s timeless quest for personal growth given key mystical insights. A journey of awakening that transcends religious tradition and science.
Reminiscent to the teachings of Paul Coelho, Don Juan and the James Redfield’s Celestine Prophecy, Ted Gregory is an unhappy stock-broker who meets Mystical facilitator; Adam. The two become entwined in an otherworldly adventure where time and reality often become surreal. Adam takes Ted on an informative journey that begins his transformation, offering both practical quantum physical explanations and experiential lessons. The story flows in a Mind, Body, and Soul awakening process that emphasizes key experiential insights, such as; journaling, keeping an open mind, aligning oneself and desires with the power of benevolent gratitude and focussed intention.
Interchange the word Mysticism for ‘spiritual growth’ regardless of philosophy or modality and you have a tool box of working with the Laws of Physics and Spirituality. There are numerous simple practices that when consciously used, develop ‘spiritual or quantum awareness’ and self mastery. While differing religions, philosophies and spiritual traditions vary in their methodology this soul journey smoothly describes the fundamental mystical experience in a masterful and direct experiential manner. Whatever the modality or experience of divine consciousness, as with this novel, mysticism is our inner yearning for communion with and growth into a higher way of being, through the experiential pursuit of higher truths. As Knight eloquently shows the way, the spiritual path is unique and individual within a communal identity. In combination with a benevolent power, awareness of our own innate powers of awareness, intuition and insights inevitably unfold in the process. Within the story, writer/seeker John Knight shares his own journey as student-teacher-seeker.
